This afternoon we met The Dey's at Glen Alla park to play. Gavin was running around with this huge parachute trying to make sure none of the other kids would step on it. he was running and looking backwards when he hit a metal play structure, splitting his forehead. He came running over asking "Am I bleeding?" as blood is flowing down his face. I took a quick look and knew we will be heading to the ER. I grabbed all the wipes I had and smacked it on his cut and told him to hold it. Becky was so kind and took Brent, Camden and Logan home so I could take G. Of course we had a friend with us. The 405 was clear and smooth sailing up to UCLA. Gavin was seen in Urgent Care, where they use glued to close up his split forehead. As always UCLA is great with kids they brought him some toys after they were done. Now we have to keep it try for couple of weeks.
