Swimming in February!

On Thursday it was warm enough for the boys to going swimming and for me to lay by the pool. I love Southern California's weather, you can't beat it. I can't wait until we are able to do this all the time.

Monster Jam!

On Saturday, Ryan took Brent to Dodger stadium to see a Monster Jam Show! They had a great time, Brent can not stop talking about the show. Ryan got pit passes so they were able to look at the trucks and meet the drivers. Brent got a Grave Digger shirt and had the drivers sign it. While they were at Monster Jam, Gavin and I went out to dinner and did a little shopping at Westside Pavilion.

Who's A Big Brother?

This little one is going to be a Big Brother! I am 12 weeks along and feeling crappy even though I am on medication for the nausea but still have to deal with my headaches and occasionally a migraine. I took both boys with me to my first appointment and ultrasound. Brent's first question for the doctor when she started the ultrasound was "Is it a Girl"? I am due on August 30th a day before Ryan's Birthday and 4 before Brent's, not liking the idea of having 3 birthday's so close. There is a lot to do before this one comes but working on it. We are excited to meet this new little one.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I think we have stayed in every year for dinner on Valentine's Day and this year was no exception. The Menu: Soy-marinated flank steak with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, for dessert chocolate covered marshmallow's and strawberries, as well as strawberry shortcakes (like the ones from Cheesecake Factory). Then the boys opened their little gifts from us. It was a fun relaxing night!

Dinner! Yummy!

Me and my Boys

Ryan was on call last night which means I don't cook. So me and my boys decided to try this new pizza place called 800 Degree Pizzeria in Westwood. We were hoping Ryan could meet us but he was too busy. The pizza was great and cheap. We could have shared one between us but it made for good left overs. After pizza Brent wanted to go to Rocket Fizz and Candy shop to pick out some candy to eat while he watched Treasure Buddies. This place had a lot of old candy that I remember growing up with and unusual soda, like peanut butter and jelly, cucumber, and buffalo wings. We ate our candy and popcorn while watching the movie. We had a fun date night!

G enjoying his margarita pizza!
Brent getting it all over his hands and face.
My mushroom and caramelized onion pizza. Yummy!
They had Ninja Turtle Ooze.
Just some of the candy and soda.
Is any one brave enough to try Bacon Soda? Not Me!

My Birthday!

I can't believe that I turned 30 this year, I am not in my 20's anymore. Ryan was post called so we were able to celebrate on my birthday. He arranged someone to watch the boys so we could go out. Every year we usually we go to the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday but this year i shock it up a bit. We went to Palms Thai in Hollywood otherwise know as the Thai restaurant with Elvis. We ordered way too much food but it was delicious and hit the spot. After dinner we went shopping at the Grove. Instead of a birthday cake I made cream puffs, we ate them after we picked the boys up. Brent bought me a hot wheel monster truck, which is his now. Ryan got me some perfume. Thanks boys for a great birthday! (Sorry no pics again)

Lately

So lately we have been in our normal routine, going to school, playgroups, running errands, etc. But we have done a couple of fun things which I didn't take any pictures.

The Dey family came to town for a week. We went to some parks, had them over for dinner and we went to Sweet Rose Creamery in Brentwood.

I went and got a facial, which was awesome!

We met some old friends from Davis at Downtown Disney. We ate at Tortilla Joes and walked around. We couldn't leave with going to the lego store and buying some candy at World of Disney.

On Super Bowl Sunday we had one of Ryan's co-workers and his family come over to watch the game and enjoy some yummy food! We ate teriyaki wings, potato skins, reuben sandwiches, hummus with pita chips, artichoke jalapeno dip, candy, brownies, and drank a lot of soda. It was a fun night!
