I can't believe he is already 5! Has it really been 5 years since I first held him in my arms. This year his birthday fell on Labor Day just like it did when he was born. While Ryan took the boys to the pool the girls, meaning Ava and Elsa came over and decorated our front door for his birthday. Brent was one lucky dude he had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, Island's for lunch (thanks to a friend), and Cheesecake Factory for dinner. He is one wild kid. But he loves life and learning all about it. He always has something to say. He loves his friends and will stand up for them. He likes school and is well behaved there. We love him so much! We are grateful to be his parents and to be able to watch him grow. Happy Birthday Buddy!

He didn't get too many gifts because his gift from us was tickets to see "Batman Live" show at the Staple Center later this month.
Gavin opened the present he got Brent.
Gavin upset that the nerf gun is not his.
